Hi Ladies. Does anyone have any ideas on where to get a good deal on Legos, either new or used? My son LOVES them and I would like to get him some more for Christmas but am having a hard time finding a good deal on them.

There aren't often very good sales on them...unfortunately. My kids are HUGE lego fans and we have a ton. They just love them and I think they're great for creative play.

I typically buy them off the lego website...they do have periods of time for free shipping and do have some items that you can't find in stores. They do have a clearance area, but it's not very large, but worth a look. I do see lego sets at Marshall's and TJMaxx, so you can get a little break on the price at those places if you have one near you.

Otherwise, I can't help you with 'used' legos...perhaps post at Freecycle? Hit garage sales?

Amazon is having a Lego sale upto 30% off select sets. My son has a Lego museum for a bedroom. Good luck!

Toys R Us had them buy 2 get 1 free a couple weeks ago, they probably will again before Christmas. As for buying new-that's the best sale I've seen on them.

I've gotten pretty lucky on Craigslist and yard sales buying them used.

E-Bay....my son went through the same Lego fever and I found alot of great deals at e-bay.

The Store that I only have had luck at is sometimes Target has them on sale.

Meijer and Target usually have them BOGO or some variation the day after Thanksgiving. I just found a brand new set at the Goodwill. Target sends great stuff to our goodwill. Always check the clearance - when new sets come out they clearance the "old" sets.

Stores R Us has city legos on sale for 20%. Pretty good considering they rarely hae sales on legos of any kind.
