I used to do that at the tollbooth. I'd go in the cash lane and tell the toll collector I was paying for the car behind me, too. That was fun. But the EZ-Pass came to town, so I never know if the person behind me is going to get charged automatically, anyway.

What an awesome idea to do it on a monthly basis! I am much more random than that lol But I love the idea of doing it at a specific time. There is an awesom book random acts of kindness that has great ideas. iN an earlier posr the idea pay it forward was mentioned, that is an awesome movie really makes you think.

I do the same thing and have had it done for me too - it's such a simple thing and can make someone's day.

I do the drive-thru thing too sometimes! About a month ago, I pulled into the coffee shop and there was a man standing outside selling newspapers. He looked like he was a bit, down and out. I felt sorry for him because it was a cold day. I was going to give him change to get a coffee but I didn't have any small change...just a $20.00. I almost talked myself out of doing an act of kindness but decided to go through the drive-thur and get him a coffee and give it to him. I already was buying a coffee and a muffin for a friend (and one for me too) so my bill was $6 something. When I pulled up, the girl told me that it was already paid for by the person ahead of me! I thought that was so cool! I did an act of kindness and got it done back to me immediately :happy dance: ! That's sowing and reaping ! When I drove back around, the guy thought I wanted to buy a paper from him. I said I thought he looked cold and I could use a coffee to warm up a bit. The guys was speechless ! It sure made my day!
