Before we had kids my husband and I would sometimes met our friends with children at Chuckie Cheese, we had a great time playing games and would just give away our tickets.
We now take our kids and before my son was old enough to care about tickets, we would give away his.

i do this also at chuck e cheese. i do this at school functions and fundraisers too! parents look so surprised that someone would do this. i just walk up to the first child i see and ask if they would like these extra tickets because we are leaving. the kids get really excited!

I do this as well. I go for the fun time, not the prizes. (Not to mention that my kids are not old enough to know what a ticket is...
