My SIL (who lives in another state) has 2 kiddos as well ..... her husband travels alot .... one day I called and it sounded like on of those days ..... so I picked up a few things ... a little coffee, cookies, small things for the kiddos and a puzzle book. I packed it up with a note and sent it off. A few days later she recieved it in the mail and it made her day.

Just knowing someone cares can make a big difference. Sometimes when I can't get a package together .... I will take a blank card and add a teabag .... inside I will write even though I can't be there .... please sit down and have a cup of tea and know I care.
