My library has puzzles in the kids area. Kids somethimes need to do something. I like to donate my woooden puzzles. I know our local childrens librarian was very grateful. All my girls loved puzzles and still do. they also like going to the library and seing the ones we donated.
edited to add: donate adult puzzles to nursing homes or senior community centers.
