You can donate your old eyeglasses to Lions Club. They refurb them and distibute them around the world. Imagine giving the gift of site to someone at virtually no cost to yourself! Most people end up pitching their old glasses. This is an inexpensive way to impact someone's life every day!
Every year my kids do a Christmas service project. One year they decided to collect used eyeglasses for the Lions Club. They collected over 50 pairs just by asking friends and relatives!
