Here in Canada, you can dontate your old/broken cell phones (along with the chargers and instructions if possible) to Rogers. The refurbish them, then donate them to battered women who have left their husbands, and are getting a fresh start from a woman's shelter! Gives them a little peace of mind for their own safety, and more than likely, their children. The best part is the phones are directly linked to 911 for them!

There are also organizations in the States that do it too. Every once in a while there is a drive for them. I save mine up and dontate them to them.

you can also donate dress clothes to these shelters.Alot of these women run there with nothing...literally.This heps them be prepared for job interviews and such.
