or at least wash the dishes.

A neighbor of ours just had to go into the hospital rather suddenly. I had a spare key from when they were on vacation so I went over and while they were at the hospital I washed the dishes, tossed in a load of laundry and did a quick general clean up. Then I had dh bring over a frozen pizza( that was all I had that was a quick dinner). They said I could come over anytime I wanted to clean.

I'm telling ya I wish I had someone that would do that for me.

aclose friend of mine did that for me one time when I was real sick.at the time with 3 girls at home it was so sweet & nice of her to do it for me.

my mom's best friend did this all my life. when mom was out of town or if someone had passed on, or family was in the hospital, my mom's bf would come over and clean her house for her. it was such a blessing to my mom. it grew up with me because when my husband's boss's wife had her baby, i wanted to go over and clean her house and make dinner for her. LOL (the 4 of us are friends LOL) guess its' just branded in me now..
