This is a spinoff on Noahsmommy cookie dough recall. Just wanted to share add'l info. I'm surprised they didn't give all the info on the article. Thank you, Sheila for racing to let us know, since so many of us use this.

The reason is that they've found E. coli in the raw dough. E.coli, people! How in the world did it get in there?!

I'm guilty because I do nibble on their dough and give some to my kids while making them. I actually have a tube in my freezer now (cutting is easier from the freezer than from the fridge.) I guess Nestle Toll House was where it started, but like the peanut butter and cat food recall, I wouldn't be surprised if this started affecting other makers.

I want my cookie dough!!!

Dude I eat raw cookie dough all the time. lol. I usually make homemade cookies though But I do have cookie dough in the fridge to make a few quick cookies for Noah oh and for fruit pizza.
