One of the deaths occured when the baby got tangled in the cord after it fell into his crib. What kind of idiot parent puts the cord to the blinds where it can fall into the crib?
Parents need to use common sense with household items that can harm babies. Roll or tie up blind cords out of baby's reach and don't put the crib so close to the window that the baby can reach the blinds.
