Take a look at these potential dangers before giving toys to very small ones for Christmas. All I have to say is, "Wow!".

We have those foam covered board books...the exact ones! And, they are absolutely right..every one of mine has had the velcro tear off into a child's mouth! We also have the Cars vehicles for ds for Christmas!! However, he is big enough not to worry about the parts coming off...and plays with them in his room only. We did have the Magnetix, but after the stuff came out on the magnets being swallowed, we promptly threw all ours away! I am glad to see that is all we have from the list.

Thank you for posting this, but I do have to say that parent need to have a little more common sense too and also know their children better. My 7 yo dd still puts stuff in her mouth yet my 3 yo rarely does and understands not to put small things in her mouth. A lot of problems could be solved just my paying more attention to your kids maturity level to see if they should be playing with a certain toy. They didn't label anything when we were kids and yet we are all ok.
