I am pretty much clueless because I rarely ever drink coffee. DH was loking at one the other night and I thought maybe I could think about that for a Christmas gift. Does anyone have a cappucino maker? What do you use most often?

We got a cappucino maker as a wedding gift and it sits in a cabinet and gets used maybe once a year (we remember it sometimes when we have company).

We love our coffee in our house and have a Cuisinart coffee maker that grinds the beans for each pot and has a stainless steel thermal pot. Way overboard for your needs unless your DH is really into his coffee, but I would assume if he is you would already have a pot. I would recommend the thermal pot feature, though - even our cheap maker had that and I love it. The coffee stays hot without the burner staying on, so the coffee doesn't get bitter and burnt.

We have a Nespresso coffee maker and yes, it does foam milk if we want to make cappuccino. Dh and I are pretty picky about our coffee and we really love the options thru Nespresso. The Nespresso machine makes individual cups of coffee or espresso and they have many different varieties. We don't have a need to make a whole pot of coffee (except when entertaining), so it works really well for us.

We also use a French Press occasionally with ground coffee.

I just got a Cuisinart Brew Central from Kohl's when they were doing 30% and bonus cash. I was using a very old 4 cup coffee maker. The Cuisinart coffee tastes great. It has a timer, auto off, gold filter, etc. I'm happy with it after about a month and a half.

we have a French press. we use a kettle to boil water, and then we pour it in the press over coarsely ground coffee. after about 5 minutes, you press the coffee and voila!

I used to have a cappucino maker and loved thhe coffee it made, but the steam spout was a royal PITA to clean.
I have a French press pot, which is my favorite way to make coffee.
We also have a 4-cup electric drip coffee maker, which is what Himself prefers to use.

I like my coffee made in glass - metal makes it taste funky.
