if so, which one and do you like it? I have a regular stove top one and it is getting old. I need to buy a new one.

I am currently using a fry daddy because I have yet to unpack my good one that has a lid that is used while cooking and has a basket in it that just lifts out like at a restaurant.

I used to have one, but found that I preferred to deep fry in my cast iron Dutch oven.

I have a deep fryer, but we no longer use it. Even the smell of deep frying makes me sick now, just too unhealthy (you know it is bad if I say that! )

We have an electric fryer, but we never use it. I don't like to fry things - for one, it's not healthy, and for two, we have a teeny little house and it REEKS of grease for at least a day afterward. We do have a propane fryer with basket that dh uses outside when he just "has to" fry something! I like that because he can cook out under the patio (our friends use theirs in their garage) and my house doesn't smell! I actually am giving our countertop fryer to my sister this weekend.

My mom got us one for Christmas last year and we don't use it that much but it works really well. We mostly use it for onion rings and fries more than anything else.
