It seems like every dvd player in my house is absolutely horrible.

We need a new one but I don't have a clue as to 'good' brands.

Can someone recommend one that is on the 'low end' spectrum. I know that walmart has a decent selection online...I would buy it at the store but am not really impressed with those that they show as high rated.
We've had problems w/ Coby in the past, yet they have it rated 4.5?

What do you have and does it work....? Mine freezes and loses frames about 1/2 way through a movie...any movie...even brand new ones right out of the box. We figure it's overheating...?

any help or direction would be appreciated!

We have a Samsung that we got at Target about 3 years ago and it still works great. I think we paid about $50-$60 at the time. We have never had a problem with it.

Walmart had Magnavox on sale this morning for $29. They said they will have different sales every Saturday morning between now and Christmas. And don't forget their online DVD Pre-orders at under $10

I'm sure WalMart will have something on their day after Thanksgiving sell. I know that is where we got ours two years ago, maybe?

Also we found one at a second hand store. Paid $5.00 for it. Can't beat that price. You might just want to check out your local second hand stores.
