I saw this in parents magazine so I thought I would look it up online.
It's a diaper caddy. I thought it would make a great babyshower gift for a new Mom. Especially for the Mom who has stairs in their house. They could load up this diaper caddy and haul it around the house with them.

It's not very cheap though. Does anyone else have some other 'frugal" diaper caddy ideas? I was thinking this could be loaded up with diapers and butt creams etc and make a cute gift for a future Mommy.

I always put mine in a basket. I would buy a medium size basket, put diapers, wipes, creams, medicines, clippers, brushes, and everything else I could think of and keep it in the basket. At night I would take it to the bedroom with me and anything I might need was right there. I didn't have to go searching for anything.

That is cute!

My favorite baby shower gift now is a miniture screwdriver set. All the baby and kid toys / items have those screw covers for the battery case now and it takes an extra small phillips screwdriver to fit those tiny screws. I have a great set of various phillips and standard screw drivers that come in a bright yellow case - with a lid - that I found at WalMart. We use it constantly.

My second favorite baby shower gift is Kama Sutra Honey Dust powder. It is water proof so it is great to use on baby's bum during a diaper change and it is natural so you don't have to worry about toxic dust in baby's lungs (heck, it is even edible!) And it is great for the new mommy to use on herself, too. Even if she uses it to protect against the wet chaffing in the breast feeding bra, she doesn't have to worry about baby's exposure to the powder. It is pricy, however, and sometimes difficult to find.

My favorite first birthday gift, especially for new moms, is a cake decorating set and child's birthday cake decorating ideas book. The baby isn't going to care what is in the gift that gets open but mom may appreciate the idea that she will be able to make wonderful birthday cakes for that child for many years to come.

I did this for a baby shower gift and I just went to the dollar tree and bought a really cute little bucket that was supposed to be used for cleaning supplies, it has a handle in the middle and two sides where you can put the supplies. I filled mine with little trash bags that go into small trash cans to put the dirty diapers in, I also put in a pack of diapers and some creams. It served the same purpose but was half the cost and I could use the money I saved on the container to buy items to go into it.

I have the Diaper Dekor. It is one of the best ones out there. One refill bag lasts 2 months and it is really easy to use. I recommend it to anyone.
