Important recall:
Maytag Recalls Dishwashers Due to Fire Hazard

Watch this one: I have a Whirlpool with the same problem: the rinse dispenser leaks, which I've had replaced once, and it's happening again. When I've called Whirlpool, I've noticed their repair ctr uses the name Maytag, also. I'm wondering if the Whirlpools will be recalled for the same reason. I am actually getting mine serviced next week to fix this. Maybe no fix can be done....

I do know that Whirlpool owns Maytag and Jenn-air as of last year.
However, products are still being made seperatly by Maytag and Whilrpool so maybe you are safe with the Whirlpool product??

Not sure, because my Whirlpool is having the same problem - question is, will it cause a fire? Hmmm.

OK. Called Whirlpool. They said the problem is not the same, and the mechanics aren't the same. Also, the Maytags/Jennairs recalled are older models.

Whew! They are coming out later this week to fix it anyway.

Bumping this! My Maytag Dishwasher did not meet the serial and model number criteria when this was first announced. But, I got a card in the mail that I should check it again. I called today. And, sure enough, it is recalled. They will either send a repair kit and list of qualified repairman or give you a $75 voucher towards the purchase of your next one. I was on hold over 25 minutes, so be prepared for long waits. I checked the website to see if mine matched first. It did, so they ask you to call an 800 number.

IIRC, Maytag recalled their washers couple of years ago, since then I have been a bit of wary about Maytag.

Most of the big name brands are all made by a couple of manufacturers.
