I recently purchased myself 2 new bras from Playtex. I haven't had them long and an underwire popped out on one of the sides. I called the company today and they are sending me a new bra free of charge and a mailer, postage paid to mail back the defective one. I was really happy about the good customer service.

Could the size be worng? I think that is why it happens, when it is too small I think. Maybe get measured?
That is good customer service.

I hate it when the underwire pops out. I tried to sew one of mine but that didn't work out. Maybe I'll try playtex next time. Thanks for sharing.

I'll have to remember to go with playtex if they have good customer service like that!

I had a similar situation with Victorias Secret. I bought a bra last summer from them and was only wearing it for a particular dress, when I decided that was silly and started wearing it regularly. The strap detached from the back. SO, I took it back in and they gave me the same bra, just new. I liked it so much, I had wanted it back. I did ask if they had this problem before and they said NO.
So, after this all occured, I still liked the bra and wanted a second, so I got another one in a different color. Sure enough, around December, the strap started detaching from the back of it. SO, I took them back in to the store and they let me buy a different kind of bra. Gave me back full purchase price. The manager there said that they have had the problem before, in fact he had opened a box to put out on display and ALL THE STRAPS WERE DETACHED IN THE WHOLE BOX!!!
Glad you had a good experience with Playtex too. I am so happy that both of our issues have been taken care of!
