I have been buying cheap casual clothes from places like Target and Kohl's lately.
I was curious if anyone had a store that they felt made the best quality (stylish/casual) clothes for the money.

I need more things that are going to hold up longer! I feel like my cheap-bargain clothes fall apart, then I am required to purchase new clothes again!

It just depends on what you're looking for...I think Talbot's has great quality clothing...and if somethign falls apart after washing or dry cleaning, they'll take it back and give you a full refund. They stand by their clothing. Talbot's full price can be expensive but they have FABULOUS sales (Dec and June I believe are their big sales). I live by one of their outlets and go all the time and get great deals there too.

I buy my clothes all over the place from all different types of stores. I am very careful in how I wash my clothes, I don't dry any of it in the dryer etc That might be part of the reason stuff lasts for me too, but you have to start off with something decent too...in that aspect, you get what you pay for. I have a cashmere sweater set my parents bought me in high school that still looks great.

Chico's wil also stand by their clothing. I love the clothing because there focus is on quality clothing that is comfortable. Their travelers line is wonderful. Wash dry and hang. You can stuff this in a suit case and it won't wrinkle. This weekend they are having an additional 50% off their clearance which is already maked down 30-50% so some items are like 80% off. Their sizing is nice too. 0,1,2,3---the 0 is like a 4/6, the 1 is a 8/10, 2 is a 10/12, and 3 is a 14/16. They cut generous. I am a 18 and the 3 fits me fine. You can also get the sale on the clearance online I believe this weekend but I know for sure that it is in stores now. If you sign up for their catalogue they send out great coupons every month. HTH
