I have my phone, internet and Directv through Verizon and have never had a problem with it. It's cheaper than doing all the services separately and it is convenient because it all comes on one bill. I have to say that I love it. If you already have the satallite, they might be able to just hook up to that one...That is what happened when we moved into our house a few months ago.

I had no idea Verizon was at all affilliated with DirecTV. How are they connected? Can they do the same thing with Dish Network? Or did Verizon buy DirecTV or something? Interesting, as we have Verizon DSL and phone, but DN for satellite....maybe a switch to DTV would be warranted here???

I didn't think that they were affiliated. But Verizon is offering a product call direct tv. The packages seem pretty similiar to Dish Networks. Dish Networks just raised their prices, Verizon's price is right in line with them for the top 200 (just went from $39.99 to $42.99). It just seemed like Verizon had some nicer options. They have a movies on demand library to choose from along with regular pay per view. Dish network only has 3 pay perview channels (lately sometimes only 2).
