Be aware that Dell has announced a new call center opening in the Phillipinnes. Oh joy. Glad I'm with Mac. Hope they stay in America!

The only time we have ever spoken to someone we could truly understand is when we made our intial purchase. We had several issues with our computer after about 6 months. It was horrible. Nothing against the call center reps but it was frustrating trying to follow their complicated instructions in extremly broken english.

We have had excellent customer service from Dell twice in the last month. They have gone above and beyond, replacing software for free (even fedexing it overnight to us) that originally came with our machine that we have long since lost when my dh decided to reformat our hard drive, and then literally taking over our machine and fixing it for us when some things didn't go as planned with that little project of dh's. We have had Dells for years and have had no problems that were not self-inflicted!

I have noticed that whenever I call Sprint Customer Service Center it is always someone that has broken English speaking. You would think that if they were looking for customer service reps they could at least try teenagers that speak English for a first language, which they could pay somewhat cheaply too. This I believe will continue to be an ongoing problem along with the computer operators.
