I am considering the Compass booster instead of the britax one because I have a larger child and read many places that is in not good for bigger /taller kids. Anyone else hear this and has anyone tried the compass booster?

Yes, we have the folding Compass and it is my DD's favorite booster seat. Apparently it is really comfortable. It is nice, too, because if you go on long car trips and your child tends to fall asleep in the car, it reclines. It is also rated as very safe.

I just bought the Graco Turbobooster tonight, but after I saw your post and looked at the reviews on the Compass, I'm strongly considering getting that instead.

Cookie, do you have the deluxe or which one? What color? I can't really tell the difference between the ones on Amazon, but there are cost differences.

Moved this to Product Talk, as it's dealing w/product and it is for preschoolers and up. Hopefully, it will get a wider read.

Also, I am a huge Britax fan for baby/toddler carseats - none other will do, but the reviews for the Britax boosters say that the kids get a stiff neck from the straight up wings and complain they can't see to the side.

We have the B505 - the green and black one. The other two booster seats in the van are the Graco Turbo-booster in the pink butterfly pattern.

Since the Compass folds, the back doesn't come off to make a backless booster. The Graco is a good booster seat but it isn't as plush as the Compass and it doesn't lean back. I'm glad we have both.
