My girls really want me to get this for them. Anyone have it? Is it too messy? Do they like it?

My 5yr old ds has had a tub of it since last year, spring time I think it was. He really likes it. He actually just asked for it today when I brought out his rice box to play with his dump trucks. Anyway, I just dump it into a 13x9 or 9x9 Pyrex dish for him to play in. It's not too messy, I don't think. you can just sweep it up with the vacuum if it gets spilled. It hasn't dried out yet. I'd like to get a few more tubs for him as I think my almost 2yr old might like it.

My 6 yr old is only allowed to play with it outside. I used to let him play with it on a tray on the coffee table. But it kept getting all over the carpet, but it doesnt stick to carpet and you can vacuum it up. Yes its messy, you get sand all over your hands. So its an outside product for me.

the kindergarten teacher in my day care has it in her room and she wasn't big on it. she said it got into the carpet and was hard to get out. of course, she has like 20 kindergarteners playing with it unlike someone at home with 1 or 2 kids playing with it.

My son has asked for this for his birthday. Guess I will have to pass that up on the list. Thanks for the info.
