I was watching a infomercial for makeup and I can't remember the name but apparently it has minerals in it. Any one know? And anyone tried it. I know if I hear the name I'll remember it.

Yes it is Bare Minerals. I use it & it is good. You can get it on QVC, but my sil has a day spa where she is licensed to sell it.

I just got hooked on it. The coverage really IS amazing like they say on TV. Some of the drugstore brands are coming out with their own versions now, but I don't know how they perform.
QVC does market the Bare Esscentuals (It's called ID Bare Minerals), but I bought mine on Sephora.com and got a bunch of freebies with my order.
I am actually going to my Moms with it tomorrow to try to convince her she needs to wear makeup again!

I have seen the those for Sheer Cover and I'm assuming it's very similar to the Bare Minerals, which I too use.

I've used Bare Minerals since they first came on the market in the mid-1970's. Back then the make-up came in little clay pots with a cork topper.

I highly recommend buying the starter kit off the infommercial. It is a really great deal. If you bought the items individually you really would have to spend over $200. Don't take the the continuation plan, though. I buy all my I.D. Bare Minerals from Sephora which is the better deal if you don't have a Bare Minerals store at your mall.

I've tried other mineral make-ups because, being a frugal kind of gal, I would like to find a cheaper version but (so far) nothing comes close.

I too, use Bare Minerals. I bought mine on eBay for a lot cheaper than retail. My MIL got me hooked on it, now I got my sister hooked on it too!

I've been a long time Bare Minerals user, I switched to the Loreal version about 8months ago and was not able to tell the difference between the two. Loreal has just the foundation they don't have the mineral veil or warmth powder.
