Hey fellow curly girls! What are your favorite products? I'm always looking for new things to try to tame my main. My hair on a good, good day (about once a year!) can look like ringlets. But most of the time it's frizz, a few spirals and a lot of waves.

So what products do you like?

Spiral Down Memory Creme--I buy it at JC Penney's Salon for $13.99. It keeps the curl without it drying with the"crunchy-wet" look.

Make sure you check out NaturallyCurly.com -- Where Curls Come to Life. My SIL and I used it to find a stylist and the one we found was an absolute lifesaver with my "twisted sister" hair.

I used to use Ouidad For Luxurious, Sexy Curls without the Frizz: Ouidad--The Curl Experts but then I started to use my straight iron and hardly ever keep it curly. I really like their products. I bought the trial size kit first to see if I liked it.

My hair is red and kinda curly/frizzy. I'm a wait-until-the-last-minute-to-get-ready person, so I don't use a lot of product in my hair. When it was long I would just wash & condition it, then I would tie it back twice into a short ponytail and use some of my husband's pomade to control the frizz on top. Now that it's shorter (shoulder-length) I do the same thing when I'm in a hurry, but if I have a little time I use some Frizz-Ease mousse and curling spray. I scrunch it and I'm gone. I wish I had the time and patience to use a hair dryer and diffuser.

Also, I'm lazy. I get my hair cut once a year and don't pay attention when the stylist tries to sell me hair products. If I can't buy it at Walgreens, I don't need it.

My DD's both have multiple products they love-they swap out out depending on style needs.
I have bought the Fructis stylers and L'Oreal stylers and they were happy with the performances. But they should have a list for me later on

It depends on weather and hair condition they told me on which product works best

I like Aveda's "Be Curly" balm...it doesn't get crunchy like some other products I've used and it makes my hair SUPER curly, esp when I blow dry. I also use Bumble and Bumble's "Curl Conscious" styling lotion. For glossy shiny curls, I use a Garnier Fructis mousse for curls, I don't know what it is called because I bought it in France when we were living overseas...so I'd have to translate. L.OL. Now that I think about it...I hope they sell it here!
