Another reason for me not to buy banana boat. I can't remember if you replied to my post about my oldest getting burnt twice while using it.

I'm using Blue Lizard now. I bought the sensitve suncream for non-swimming use (chemical & fragrance free) and regular for when they are swimming. It claims to provide 240 minutes of protection in the water.

So far so good.

Hope her rash heals soon!
Skimommy, you should call banana boat and try to get your money back!

We have been using banana boat, spf 50, tear free for the past 3 years (not the same bottle, obviously) and I have never had problems, but I will be watching this closely.

Thanks for reviving this post. I was in the store the other day, looking at all the sunscreens, and thinking to myself, "I know DD is allergic to one of these. I wish I could remember which one." Whew!

Used it on Sunday morning, broke out Sunday afternoon. Severe rash everywhere it was applied, raw, itchy, bumps, oozing and pain. Face swollen, huge swollen bags under my eyes, can't sleep. The label claims "As Mild As Water" Bull! Our skin is our biggest organ, I just hope that the millions of people that have used this product don't end up with some kind of cancer in years to come. Thanks a lot Banana Boat!!!
