I don't know if people have talked about these in the past but my girls love them. The pump broke last year but for $6.00 I bought another one to entertain them this summer. We even had the neighbor kids coming over to join in.

If you haven't seen them picture a little bike tire air pump, stick a balloon on the end, pump up, and have your child release it. They make a noise as they deflate. Usually you can reuse the balloons over and over again until they pop.
