What is your favorite item to clean your sink and drain, especially to keep your drain fresh? I liked Soft Scrub, and my Grandma taught me to put a little Clorox in a sink full of water to soak and then let it drain and sit for a little longer...BUT, is that safe enough for a disposal? And do you do this with your bathroom sinks and drains, too?

I usually use Soft Scrub in my kitchen sink, sometimes Comet.

In the bathroom, I just use the Clorox wipes, if the sink is starting to yellow from our well water I squirt a little bit of Sno-bol in it to get the stain out, then I rinse it really good!!

I like soft scrub, you wipe it in sinks / tubs and let it sit - rinse and its sparkling clean.

I think I'll start using the soft scrub cuz I've tried just about everything else and I'm not happy yet.

Can soft scrub be used on acrylic tubs and sinks? I made the (REALLY) bad mistake of using Scrubbing bubbles on my new tub, and the shine is not what is used to be ! I am so mad at myself! What is the best, safest cleaner for acrylic?

I have white kitchen countertops and sink and I L-O-V-E clorox cleanup, it is the fast and best cleaner to get out coffee rings, strawberry juice, just anything. To clean the sinks (I always splash Iced Tea in there, which stains) I put down a papertowel in the bottom of the sink, spray it with the clorox and let it sit awhile. Now for my bathroom tubs I love the softsoap, it really cuts the dirt!

I used to use store bought sink cleaners and drain cleaner- but a friend of mine taught me a nice little money saving trick! Pour saking soda all around your sink (enough for a light coating) then pour vinegar on a rag and rub. It really cleans the sink and it's amazingly good! For drains pour baking soda around the drain and pour the vinegar down the drain. Let sit for a few minutes and flush with HOT water.
I couldn't believe how well it works! And it's a TON cheaper than buying the expensive cleaners- it's also not going to burn our eyes and skin!
