We bought them to help us move and we were not impressed. They leaked and we couldn't get them to shrink down skinny like on the pictures. The blankets, etc that we put in them were smaller but they were in odd shaped blobs. It helped somewhat but I'm not sure that we'll use them again.

We bought ours at Walmart (the namebrand ones) and we've only had 100% good things to say about them. I think that ours were in the
storage section, like the plasic containers and things. I do believe that my mom at first purchased some "generic" brand of these space saver bags and they leaked and she was so mad!!! She bought the brand name ones a month later, and couldn't believe that she waisted her $$$ on the generic. This is one of the FEW things I would NOT purchase generic of! I have spoken to several people who've been mad with the generic version of these bags! Mine have NEVER once leaked! We have been very happy with them! What a space saver!

I have them and they are OK. I think they would work better for short term. I found that you have to vacuum the air out and place them in a permanent spot. IF you start moving them all over then it starts get air in it again.

I've bought the ones on TV and at Walmart (name brand) and I've had problems with them leaking air, too. I was using it for baby clothes and I think that maybe I overfilled them. I'm going to try it again with fewer items in the bag.

I have them and love them-- I had some trouble with 1 leaking but I had overstuffed it, so I redid it and its fine, all under my bed is full of them! Blankets, old antique linens, my Boyds Bear and Americana Tys are in them and I have 4 big ones full of Raggedy Ann and Andys, my dh hates my collections but I just can't part with them for nothing!

My daughter used space bags when she moved across the country. It was amazing how many clothes, comforters etc she got inside her car and trunk.

i bought the name brand ones from walmart. most of them worked fine. a couple of them leaked out and the zipper closer thing came off of one bag but it worked fine without it. i think i tried to over fill the one that leaked.

We like them-
Packed all of DD- Marias civies in them when she deployed
Had to unpack them last week to send clothes-

DH said I could get 1 more pack so I could finish decluttering and setting up linens closet
I will store winter bedding, winter curtains etc.
