personally, we don't use a crib. Stetson sleeps in his pack n play (was made with 2 levels) and will throw a fit if he's put in the crib. We gave it away and just use the pnp now.

Two really good brands are Pali and Bonavita I have a Pali--it's on it's second boy and still looks like the day we got it. Both brands are pricey, but Craigslist usually has a good selection of both. Hope this helps!
