Well ladies, I am one of the unlucky ones, I guess, that DOES NOT have a dishwasher, so I do all my dishes by hand. So......................

What is your favorite Dish Soap?? Do you think that the store brand or generic is as good as the name brands?? What really cuts the grease for you??

I usually use JOY, but have been using Dawn(since I had a coupon & it was on sale at my local grocer) and I think I like the Dawn better!!

What do you all think??

We use Joy with bleach and love it. It's not that expensive at
Wal-mart and plus I usually find coupons for it pretty often.

I go between Pamolive and Dawn. I do not like genric brands I do not think that they clean as well especially in cutting grease. I just don't feel like the dishes are getting clean enough with the generic brands.

I use original Palmolive The smell reminds me of bubble baths at my aunt's house when I was little (she used it for the bubbles)...so at least I can get a smile on my face as I am scrubbing the few pans that don't fit in the dishwasher

I've always preferred Dawn, it just really does a great job on greasy stuff. I have been using the Dawn Direct Foam for awhile now, since it came out, I guess, and I really like it. It lasts so long, takes so little of it, and I think it really saves on the amount of water I use, too. I've always gotten it on sale at Kroger w/ coupons, so it's been just as cheap as the regular stuff. And I love the smell of the citrus one.

Yeah-Dawn direct foam is really good! My bottle lasted a long time- and I'd buy the refills with coupons- they last forever and it works really well! My only problem with it, is that I have a built in dishwashing pump/container in my sink and When I put the dawn direct foam into it, it never worked right- so the only way you can use it is when you use it directly from the bottle.

Dawn all the way! It lasts a long time and really does get rid of the grease. You only need a little, as it sudses up so well. Plus, it's gentle. I haven't tried the foaming one yet because it seems so expensive.

we use Dawn also here .. we have tired others just don't like them or they don't last as long. I think Dawn in thick so you have to use less some others that are cheaper are imo thinner so you have to use more or just end up using more.
