I got a really nice e-mail from RC2 regarding the Thomas Wooden trains recall, they basically said that they got the trains that I sent them & that they were working on figuring out the problem. I'm wondering how long until I get the replacements.

Did anyone else hear from them yet???

Actually, I got a letter from them yesterday with a free train, Oliver, to use and as a thank you for business. They also said I would recieve my replacement train back as soon as they could and are sending me a check for my postage. I was impressed.

I got that same package the other day too!! My Ds was so excited about 'Oliver' he said "Oh, I've always wanted that one" LOL!! Crazy kid!!

OMG! I didn't hear about this!!! DS has TONS of the wooden trains!! Is there a website I could go on to check and see if we have any of the recalled trains?? In the meantime I guess I'll have to take away his trains! Is this because of lead based paint or what?? How scary!!
