What is your Favorite dryer sheet & why??? Do you even use them??

I prefer Bounce, I love the way they smell, and they do cut the static. But I will buy the Cling Free brand if I have too.

I bought Arm & Hammer Essentials Lavendar & White Linen about a month or so ago and I am crazy about it. I only bought it because it was on sale and because I had a coupon but it smells heavenly. Our whole laundry room smells so cozy, it makes doing laundry almost bearable. I will definitely splurge on it again when I run out. LOVE this stuff!!!

I've been buying the Cling Free in various scents just because I almost always have a coupon for them and end up getting them for about 50 cents at the Commissary when its all said and done. I do have coupons for the Arm & Hammer ones though so I might try those next time.

I never use them any more and don't miss them. To me they are an unnecessary expense.

I just had to get a new dryer. The repairman asked if I used dryer sheets. I told him no.

He said that they are not good to use as they leave a film on the dryer vent and it makes it harder for the dryer to work (meaning the dryer has to dry the clothes longer). He also said becasue of the film- it could make the dryer caught on fire.

He did say to wash the lint vent every so often to clean it.
Just on FYI

On the rare occasion I run my dryer I use whatever is cheapest. I use them more often to keep stored clothes smelling fresh - I line the bottom of the bin, then put another layer half way up and then top off the bin with the remainder of the clothes and put dyer sheets at the top.

I like Bounce.

I'm also glad you're back!

I use Bounce when I use sheets (not very often). I also cut each one in half.

99% of the time, I line dry my clothes. So instead of using a dryer sheet, I use Gain softner in the wash.

On the rare occasion that I do laundry and it's raining, I will use Gain dryer sheets in the dryer instead of using softner in the wash. I've been using Gain dryer sheets for the longest time. I place these all over my house, and even under the seats in my car. I've been known to also pin them to the front of my fan so that the smell circulates thoughtout my house. LOVE the smell of Gain! If I could find real Surf, not the All/Surf they make now, I'd switch back to that in a heartbeat!! But, I'd still buy Gain dryer sheets (and softner) for my laundry.
