I bought my son a package of pampers and some of them are leaky there has been a number of times my son ends up SOAKED! Clothes play pen (his current bed). I know I moved him up a size to 4s cause 3's are getting a little tight (i guess not though) and I was thinking how when I moved him up every other time which was usally the lowest weight he never had that problem even when he was starting 2s or 3s. So I wrote them an email letting them know that I think I got a bad pack and like 2 or 3 hours later I look over at my sons playpen thinking he threw up and I get closer to see what it was and it was those crystals from the diaper ALL over there were big clumps of them and he was covered in them and instead of wasting wipes cause he had a ton on him I ran him naked in to the kicten and put him in the kitchen sink and he wouldn't stay sitting so I used the sprayer and got them off made a mess and stuff then I had to put him somewhere where he couldnt get in to anything and as most of you know we are in the middle of moving so there isn't anywhere I could put him crib wise and I was gonna shake out his play pen mat thing so I had to put him up in my walk in closet. There weren't any outlets in there so It was safe for him. So long story short. Pampers is on my S*** list!

Those things are safe - Pampers, Huggies and Gerber (they make breast pads) told me they could upset baby's tummy, but it's made out of a seaweed component and is not toxic. First thing. Second, let it dry and you can vacuum it up.

From the history I've had w/both Pampers and Huggies, you can expect Pampers to send you coupons for a couple of free packs. A couple of years ago, I had a problem w/the pullups not absorbing - I would open a pack and they were all stiff and flat. They had a couple of bad batches. I reported it and got new ones.

My goodness, I would be worried about it being dangerous too. I'm glad to hear it is non-toxic, but I would hope it is since it is on my baby's bottom.

take pics and email them to pampers. I had problems with some easy ups and they sent me 2 coupons of $5.00 each.

Yes, definitely keep some - they sent me a SASE to send some in.

Also, since it's a seaweed thing, it is salty, so try to keep it off baby's eyes - and globs are a choking hazard, which is why I got so mad at Gerber. Their breast pads were leaking the stuff all over my breasts and the bed in the morning. Plus, my diva was grabbing them when she got older, out of my bra while I dozed and chewed them. That's was one time I had to call poison control just to find out.

I had this same problem with Pampers a couple of months ago. I called and shipped them a couple of diapers. They sent me two coupons for $8 off. I usually use Luvs and have NEVER had a problem with them. I do buy other brands though if I get a good deal.
