I was given some free samples of Listerine Whitening Strips from bzzagent. (Word of mouth advertising firm that I do not work for, I only try things out for them. They do not sell anything. ) I have never tried any whitening product before, mainly because of the price. The website, ListerineWhitening.com claims that you can put these on anywhere and do whatever you want. I would definitely not do that. They do not dissolve very easily and leave gunk on your teeth. If I went to the store (or even my wedding, as the website used as an example) I would be embarrassed to have people see me with that crap on my teeth.

I did like the way my breath and mouth felt fresh for at least 6 more hours. So I am going to try the Listerine breath strips.

What I have heard from other people about these:
  • You can see the difference in your teeth within a couple days
  • You have to put them on with dry fingers so the strips don't stick to your fingers
  • They don't hurt sensitive teeth, like other whitening products have been known to do
  • If you have a small mouth or small teeth, you may need to cut the strips down a little to get them on nicely

I was going to post the same thing...I too got samples from BzzAgent and I am glad I got to try them before purchasing them...I loved the idea that these dissolve on your teeth so there is no thing to remove when you're done. Accordingto the pack it takes 5-10 minutes to dissolve...25 minutes later it still wasn't dissolved but I did have a gummy residue all over my teeth (I waited on it to see just how long it would take and after 25 minutes I couldn't handle it anymore and had to rinse!)
Blech...I can't see a very good bzz report coming from this one!

I am doing the same Listerine whitestrip campaign for Bzz agent.I had the same experience with them not dissolving and leaving the white residue all over my teeth.I also had a problem with them making my teeth very sensitive.

I am not a fan either. I do not think I will be doing much bzzing about them...They do not dissolve and I have to brush my teeth after I use them.

I have to agree with everything you all have said so far. I was excited in the beginning of the campaign, mostly because I would never have bought them because they cost too much money to me. Also, they didn't hurt my teeth, which is a common complaint for teeth whiteners.
After a few days, though, they started to hurt my gums! Did anybody else have that happen??
I try them at night sometimes, and even when I wake up, I still feel gunk on my teeth!

I got an email announcement for this campaign, but didn't sign up. For one, I hate the way Listerine tastes, and it just didn't sound like they would work very well. I'm glad that I decided to skip it!
