We also have the Cuisinart Grind & Brew, love it! We have the one with brushed chrome finish. It sells for about $149.99. I purchased ours about two years ago factory-reconditioned from Overstock.com for $69.99. It is still available for that price on overstock here is the link.........

We have the Cuisinart Grind n Brew, too, with the thermal pot. I like my coffee hot but not burnt, so the thermal pot is great! I put off buying it for so long because of the price, but I redeemed my Discover cash back bonus for Bed Bath and Beyond gift card ($20 in cash back bonus for a $25 gift card - we were able to get three of them) and then used a 20% off coupon, so I got it for about $60 AND there was a $20 rebate. It was the best purchase I ever made because I love my coffee.

We have a Mr. Coffee. Love it. It's more of an upscale model. I think we paid $50 for it on sale and so far (knock on wood) it's lasted almost 3 years for us. HOWEVER, when we were on vacation, we stayed with friends who had the Grind N Brew with thermal pot. I'm thinking when this one's on its last leg we may look into that. I'm getting sick of grinding the beans myself everynight and having the "dust" all over.

This is our 2nd Mr Coffee and HATE it! The grounds end up in the coffee, so I bought one of those gold permanent filters and it tasted bitter -- so now I use a paper filter WITH the permanent one... just so the grounds dont get in the coffee.

And now we keep it unplugged - bought this one for the auto timer -- turned it off one day and hours later, the carafe was still hot even though it was off -- like it was just brewed -- and the bottom was starting to turn brown. So now we just unplug it when we're done because i am so tired of buying new coffee pots.

Will see what every one else has and maybe take a suggestion from this thread!

We have a Mr. Coffee. It's a newer model that has a stainless steel carafe. We love it. I can take the carafe and put it on the table and not worry about the coffee getting cold or burning someone and the outside is also cool to the touch. No more glass carafes for me! It also has a timer and shuts off after 2 hours.
