I have always liked the look of these pans and casserole dishes but have never really checked them out. I love the fruit and vegetable casserole dishes, they are so cute! I saw them in the grocery store today and picked up a brochure. They also have silicone utensils and bakeware that I would love to know if anyone has baked with them and if so how they liked them.

I have a few Dutch Ovens my Dad gave me. I love to make chili or sauce in them. I haven't baked in them, but I would imagine they would be just fine. They are very heavy.

Here's a mental picture: Dad lives 4 hours away. We were visting via Plane and he gave us 3 of these to take home. We packed them in a duffle with a bazillion towels. We carried these on the plane! Can you imagine what the screeners were thinking. I think it was after 9/11 also but before the rules had gotten soo crazy!

Pampered Chef Stoneware is the best! I have the large Pizza stoneware tray and for a family of 7 I can buy the cheap frozen pizzas from the store and they come out tasting like home made Pizza's! Kids Love them!! No more cardboard pizza here!

I love Le Creuset! They're awesome BUT they can be hard on ceramic/glass stovetops and easily scratch them. I really like that I can sear meat on the stovetop and then since the whole thing is overproof, put the pan with a lid in the oven for things like stew, beef bourguignon, osso bucco etc

As far as I know, all Le Creuset is enameled cast iron...not stoneware.

I used to have a Le Creuset skillet until I dunked it in water right after using it. That didn't work out too well.

Other than that, Le Creuset is wonderful for casseroles and baking. I just don't use it on the stovetop anymore.

As for cast iron, absolutely. I have a cast iron skillet (again, don't dunk it in cold water when it is hot) and a Dutch oven. I don't use most of these items much because I have arthritis but there are some dishes that they are perfect for. Pancakes on a cast iron skillet are terrific.

Here is the link for all their products: Le Creuset - Product Guide

the silicone bake ware: Le Creuset - Product Guide I love the idea of this bake ware, no more spraying the pans or greasing the pans first. I may have to buy one just to try it.

I have Le Creuset pots and pans and love them. I did see some cookware at TJMaxx that was like this and it looked so neat. It was priced very reasonable also. The only negative for me is it is VERY heavy and when I get food into some of the large dutch ovens it is hard for me pick up.
