I too am a proud Dyson owner. I got the pink and gray one. $40 went to breast cancer for this vac. Paid $400 for it, got $100 giftcard for Target and put $200 down (money I won that weekend at an Indian Casino playing the slot machine - only spent $40 gambling) so I just owe about $200 which isnt bad!
I tossed my other piece of cr@p vac that didnt do the job. I took it the the local thrift store and was glad to get rid of that piece of junk.
dh said to go inside and check out the store...15 min later I seen that piece of junk on the sales floor - they put a price tag of $40 on it. oh boy...
The day prior to getting my new vac I did vacuum the living room and dining room with the old vac. I brought my new vac home and vacuumed again. You wouldnt believe all the dirt and crap my Dyson picked up! I just love my new vac, I joked to dh that his side of the bed was going to they Dyson. lol
