My daughter loves her leapster lmax, however like most people we have not hooked it up to the TV yet. Maybe we will try this weekend. Anyway, my daughter is 5 and she loves hers. Some of the games are a little too old for her but its nice to know that they can grow into the games.

I hooked our leapster up to the TV yesterday and my daughter absolutely loves the idea that she can play the games on her TV. Would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I ordered for for my son at a great price. Now I'm having doubts. He's 7, in 2nd grade, and will be 8 in April. He's not into video games, although we'd not invested in them. The Dr.s think it would be good for his tracking issues. I bought Leappads for him when he was younger, and he never had an interest.

Do you think he's going to be too old for this? I'm wondering if I should cancel my order.

My 8 Year Old Still Likes To Play His Leapster. The Games Are Still Challenging For Him And They Make Games For Kids That Are In 3rd-4th Grade I Know For Sure. I Am Not Sure How High In Age The Games Are Though.

DD opened hers this morning and we had a hard time getting it to come on. I finally used an eraser and cleaned all the battery connections and its worked great since then. We can not get the recharger to work.

Dd is 4 1/2 and just got an L-max for Christmas. It is absolutely her favorite present. She will not put it down. She received four games :

Pet Pals - adorable, she loves it.
Clifford- her least favorite so far but she still likes it
Spongebob Squarepants- she loves it!
Learn to Read & Draw- she likes this one very very much. It's a little different from the others in that it lets her draw and color more.

I got the L-max at a great price on Amazon. I believe it was $53.99 with free shipping. She can use both Leapster and L-max games. The L-max games come with a few extra activities when you plug then into the TV. I chose the L-max because it gave me the ability to choose from a bigger pool of games.

This was a great buy!!!!
