Some people have great thoughts about Mazda cars, I am not one of them. I had one when I first got married. It started falling apart when it was less than 2 years old. In my opinion Mazda's are a great car to lease or have for a year or two, but they have no re-sale value and even though they look great right away, after you have it for a while things will start to go wrong. There are "sounds/humming" that they start to make as they get older and these "sounds" can't be fixed, it's just part of the way that the car runs when it gets older. This may have changed in the past two years,
My BIL had a Mazda protege and after 10 months of owning it (bought it new) the glue that was holding the material on the celing of the car started "letting go" and it looked horrible. I am not saying that you shouldn't get it...just do some good research before buying any Mazda vehicle...my extended family and I have had 3 of these brands of vehichles and not one of us has a good thing to say about it...
