have you all heard that they are recalling that little seat the "bumbo"? We have purchased a few for the preschool that I work for and we have enough common sense not to place them on the table with the child inside. I am so irritated that the reason that half of these items are recalled are because of misuse (on the parents behalf). Now that I have vented I feel oddly better....thanks!

These are great seats!!! Too bad they can't recall the dumb arse parents who think it's ok to sit babies in these things on tables. It says in the directions not to leave kids unattended on tables in bumbos. I used one of these in my daycare and i never left the baby on a table unattended and when she started arching her back and looking like she was going to pop out of the seat i got rid of it. Why couldn't these other 28 ding bats think about that?

Tommy has a bumbo. We did put it on a table ONE time and that was a picnic table during his birthday party and he had a responsible adult next to him the entire time.

That being said, can't we just track down those few stupid people that have no common sense???? I'm never going to give up my Bumbo. I can't believe the company has to spend the extra money for new packaging and lose sales because someone is careless with their child. I say we recall the irresponsible parents instead. They're probably the ones giving their kids too much cough syrup too!

Addison loved and still loves her Bumbo at almost 17 months old. I have had her in it since she was about 43-4 months old. We only use it on the floor unless someone was sitting with her at the table. How stupid are people to leave a child unattended in a chair like that on the table. MORONS!

I bought my bumbo back in early 2005. and we LOVE it. i'll be keeping it just in case we have a 3rd child. the seat is wonderful!

I have a friend that has one and we were talking about it last night. She said, "Well the picture on the packaging shows it on a table." That still doesn't mean you just set your child on the table and go to the other room!!! I wanted to whap her upside the head!!!!
