What is your favorite Jarred/Canned Spaghetti Sauce?

I grew up spoiled, as my grandmother taught me to make Spaghetti sauce, and we usually had homemade or home-jarred. However, as an adult, I don't have that pleasure. So...
Many have so many preservatives, fat, sugar, etc., you really have to read the labels. I liked Ragu, and Prego, but DH started buying some that was either tasteless or too sweet. But I've found a healthy one I liked!

Trader Joes Four Cheese Sauce. It's great, and healthy!
I like to pair it with the freshly grated Parmesan over their whole wheat pasta.

Yours?

I usually make homemade sauce, but if I don't have time to do that I use those Durkee packets that all you have to do is add water and tomato paste, I do jazz it up a bit though.

We like the Aldi's brand jars. They are only 99 cents and taste great. Dh always adds Italian sausage and mushrooms.

Sub question for those that make their own sauce: IS IT CHEAPER?

I know the recipe I love is not. It's pricey and sooooo good and calorie heavy. So when you say you make your own, what kind do you make exactly? Something resembling real chunky meat and veggie sauce or something more like prego?

I get the cheapest bottled sauce and add hamburger to it usually cooked with fresh garlic. Good enough for us and I get it when on sale.

We buy the Hunts canned Traditional Sauce. Not only is it cheap 86cents a can, I think it tastes pretty good! But then again I never really tasted true homemade pasta sauce. I might change my mind if I did.

Hunt's-traditional, mushroom or the veggie kind. We all like it. I always doctor it up a little anyways. Plus when it is on sale for less than a buck, I stock up on it big time.

I will say that homemade is my absolute favorite, but too much work and costs WAY more. I will stick with the canned stuff. Besides, it is one thing that I request when we go visit my parents. My mom makes killer homemade spag. sauce. MMMMMMMMM!!!!

I usually make home made sauce with tomatoes that we can. But, if I do buy sauce in a jar it's Francesco Rinadi w/ eggplant. I like it because it doesn't have corn syrup in it and it's not too sweet. Their organic sauce w/ basil is also delish.

I like my own concoction the best; Aldi spaghetti sauce + can of italian diced tomatoes + can of mushrooms + grinder italian seasoning + ground hamburger. YUMMALICIOUS! DH looks at me funny if I just crack open a jar/can of sauce and mix it with burger. He's like "um this is broken. Where are the tomatoes and mushrooms?" LOL
