Curious George Plush Dolls Recalled By Marvel Toys Due to Risk of Lead Exposure

You knew I had to do at least one lead one today, right?

That sucks. This is the first lead based toy recall that has hit us. We have two of these and my boys love them (and have slept with them for at least the last year).

My little guy has one of these! The sweet dreams one! So now what? I have had it over a year. I have never dealt with anything that has been recalled. I do not know what to do.

Click on the link in desertmom's post. That will get you to the CPSC recall listing for the product. From there you can click on a link to get you to the company website (or you can call their toll-free number). Scroll down and you can enter your name, address, email, and phone number. Once you click submit you will be able to print a postage paid return label. Pack up the toy, put the return label on the outside of the box, and take it to the post office. The company is supposed to mail you a refund check.

Just called to make sure that we do have one of the recalls. My little guy is gonna be so lost with out his georgie. I registered while I was on the phone with them, so they are mailing me the label and shipping envelope. I am still so mad with all these recalls.
