Where I live, you can take your car with carseat to the local fire department and have them check that it's installed properly. You might give your FD a call.

The local Police Dept. needs to steer you in the right direction. It varies from area to area. I was car seat cert. but let it lapse. 94 of 100 are put in wrong and need to be checked!!
