hi Ladies!
I just bought the Amazing Amanda doll for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. (From Santa, of course!). Last yr, I bought her the Amazing Allyson doll, but after reading revies about her, I've decided againist giving her to my daughter. (Seems Allyson is more for older kids and is kinda sassy!) So, I got an AMAZING (no pun intended) deal on Amanda, so I bought her. She's more for younger kids, anyway.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has bought Amanda for their cutie! (I'd like to know the good, bad and ugly about her!!!!) Again, I went online and got mixed reviews about her. (Some say her features creep them out and she's hard to program.. others say she's a gem!) So, any info on this "Amazing" toy would be appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance!

My bitty chick just got her for her 5th b'day. She IS indeed amazing imo! The programming is just sorta 'blah',, like having to set a clock that you must wait for a beat before pushing the button for the next minute... *cause you're waiting on her to say the numbers, then squeeze her hand again* Just wait the beat after she asks something before you reply,, THAT'S the trick to EVERYTHING with her,, wait a beat,, she can't 'hear' while she's 'talking'

My bitty chick isn't really a 'baby doll' kid,, she MUCH more into animals. She DOES love this doll,, but she's kinda DEMANDING so she's been asleep now for a few days lol

My Dd got her for Christmas 2 years ago (The year she came out and DD HAD to have her...so my Uncle bought it for her) After 2 days Amazing Amanda became known around here as "Annoying Amanda"...DD's new name for her! The doll is very demanding and a bit too high maintenance. Kels was 5 when she got her and even now at 7 she still has limited patience for Annoying Amanda (she is a pain in the butt to set but like mrsteeee67 pointed out...the trick is to wait a beat and then go)
