We had a Graco infant seat and it was great for in the cold and for getting her in a stroller without moving her or waking her up. We also have a Britax Marathon and I recommend one of these for when she outgrows the infant seat.

Actually, my pediatrition told me Cosco was the best brand on the market and it is reasonalble. There are many different variaties to fit you style. We bought one that goes up to 90 lbs.

We used a Baby trend travel system with Tommy. It was awesome! He is such a runt that he only outgrew it last week and we are now in a forward facing carseat. (he's 15 months) We got it at Babies R Us. I love that is has a triangle shaped handle, so you can carry from any direction and it has a 5 point harness. I am actually sad that he outgrew it, because I really loved using the travel system for his doctor's visits. Now that it is just the stroller, we will have less room for his things.
