Does anyone have an inexpensive air purifier that works............or do they work?? My mom will be moving in with us but I think she will be smoking only in her room. I'd like to put an air purifier in her room.

Honestly, I know of no air purifier that will counter-act cigarette smoke. Eventually, you'll smell it and see the effects. There are some air purifiers sold by Brookstone or Smarter Image (is that the name?) that are decent but they aren't cheap.

I don't think an air purifier will help much with the cigarette smoke.

That's true. The ozone ones claim to, but in tests, they don't, and worse, the ozone itself is dangerous. I couldn't have that in my home. Outside, but quitting is better.

My husband does not smoke in the house, he does go outside. My mom is 78 and is not quitting now.
She could have the ceiling fan on in the room. But she always cold she'd probably be freezing.
