I use a swiffer. I am happy with the dusting cloths and I don't think they're very expensive, but I think the wet cloths cost more and dry out too quickly. I guess I should take a spray bottle and use that once dry. Thanks for the tip.
I've seen the bigger (wider) ones too, and kind of want one, but I don't *need* it.

I think I had the same one your MIL has - I didn't like it at all! You're supposed to squirt the floor with the solution and then wipe it with the 'mop' I washed the mop head with hot water and still it didn't come clean, and threads and stuff 'stuck' to it. Yuck.

So I went back to my Swiffer pads, but I do get down on my hands and knees to use them. I don't feel the Swiffer stick lets me put pressure on it to really get the floor clean. I get them at Costco where they come in a large package (48 I think?) and they are reasonable. I just hate the smell, though.
