I just bought 3 Webkins last week for my DD's b-day in 2 weeks, her b-day is the 22nd day before Easter I decided today Im going to make all the baskets which I did last year My fiance & I were going also buy for his nieces and nephews 2 girls + 6 boys ages 5-10 I wanted to get them all Lil Webkins my fiance thinks the Webkins are way to girlie for the boys (I know they have 'boy' ones but its an arguement I cant win). Target has a good deal on Neopets those look alot more boyish and The Littlest Petshop has some too that would be cute for the girls although I think Im going to stick to the Lil Webkins for the girls anyway. Whats Your take on them?

Hmmmm... as far as I can tell, Neopets might actually have more stuff to do. Although we have only been doing Webkinz for a little while now. I think Webkinz is more kid friendly. But we haven't had any problems with Neopets. I think their are probably a lot of adults at Neopets too, and not so much at Webkinz. You want them to be safe surfing. One problem we have had with webkinz is the site being down, or slow when my daughter has wanted to use it. You should checkout the websites yourself to see how you like them.
My daughter is 11 and had been doing Neopets for awhile. She stopped when she found club penguin. She really liked that, but to get the most out of it you need a paid membership. We got her a Webkinz at Christmas, and she still plays there, but has started playing at neopets again. I think she may like that one better. Sorry, I only have one boy, and he is 16, so all there was when he was younger was neopets. And he did like it.

I know you said you can't win the "too girly" argument, but both of my boys (7 and 9) have Webkinz and so do a lot of the boys at our school. I actually have my own account and I talk Webkinz in the cafeteria with the kids while I am working, and just as many boys play as girls.
