I am looking for a carpet cleaner. A small one that you would use on spots here and there. Hopefully doesn't cost and arm an a leg but works well.

We love a spot treatment spray called Folex. It comes in a medium sized white and purple bottle (about the size of a water bottle). I have only been able to find it at Lowe's home improvement stores. It has taken out every stain we have had (since we were told about it 2 yrs ago) and has never taken any color out of the fabric, carpet, apholstry (sp?). It costs around 4 dollars if I remember right

I LOVE Spot Shot...my Mom turned me onto it a few years ago and I haven't looked back! It gets out everything for me.

As far as a small steam cleaner, we had the Bissell Green Machine for many years and it worked really well for us. It wasn't a super tiny one, but it was easy to use, worked well etc

I also LOVE Spot Shot! It even gets blood out of white fabric (we had an unfortunate event involving a squirrel in our house and our dog - our dog won).
