I have a friend who tried it and did not really like it. She felt like it didn't really give her the coverage she wanted. Now, I just started using Bare Minerals a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT! It took a little getting used to putting it on but now it's not a problem! My skin feels so much better too!

I haven't tried it. Is that another mineral makeup? I have tried 2 different brands of mineral makeup, and I love both of them. Avon, and everday minerals. I got the free sample(plus shipping) from everdayminerals.com a few weeks ago, and I still have some left.

I have used Bare Minerals for a couple years and love it. My cheeks get red and it covers it up and has greatly reduced the amount of breakouts. It lasts a long time too!

I've tried both Sheer Cover and Bare Minerals. I actually liked Sheer Cover better then the Bare Minerals, but both I think are outrageously priced. I have to agree that Everyday Minerals is the best I've tried, and like another poster said you can get free samples. All you have to do is pay for the shipping. I think I paid $5 when I ordered last summer. The samples also lasted a long time, they have fewer ingredients then Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover. Plus, they are much cheaper. Makeup Alley has tons of reviews that can help you decide if your looking for a good mineral makeup. This is where I found out about EM.

I tried Sheer Cover... but the color wasn't quite right... so I had to blend 2 colors. For me it was a PITA. So I went looking for something new.

I am totally in love with Mary Kay's new mineral foundation. The color happens to be right on. Also, I really like that I can build my coverage in the areas I need it (my cheeks are always too red), and it is transfer-resistant too! (Great for when I get the rare opportunity to take a 15 min nap during the day).

They just came out with a sheer mineral pressed powder. I just got mine a week ago.. This is really nice too. And, if I am going for a natural (no makeup) look, it works really well for me. It doesn't have the coverage that the loose powder does... but it wasn't meant to. So, my natural cheek color shines through... however, with that foundation it looks as though I put on blush! I just pulled out my catalog.. and it says that it "helps minimize the appearance of lines, enhance luminosity and deliver sheer color. Plus, it controls excess oil for up to 8 hours."

The absolute best part about the pressed powder? It's compact has a space for a lipstick or gloss!!!!! I have been telling my MK person (and consultants for every other cosmetic company out there) for years that I wish they would come out with a compact that does that! I mean... hello!! What do we toss in our purse when we go out? Our pressed powder and lipstick for touchups..... and I am forever losing my lipstick in the bottom of my purse!

I never really thought I would get that excited about make-up. But I am! tee hee!
